In my last High Five for Friday post I told you all about the little kitten I rescued. I wanted to give an update.
Saturday morning I took Shadow to the vet again. He still wasn't eating and wasn't making much improvement. The vet game him some fluids and vitamins. He told me in a roundabout way that he didn't think little Shadow would make it. I cried the whole way home.
I still wasn't giving up. I continued with his medicine and the Nutri-Cal gel. I prayed and prayed for my precious fur baby.
His little body just couldn't fight anymore and he passed away Saturday afternoon. My fiancé made a little casket for him and we buried him.
This was a very sad weekend.
I miss my little guy.

So sorry to hear this :( It's never an easy thing to lose a pet - no matter how long they have been with you.
ReplyDeleteVery true. He became a part of the family very quickly. Even my fiancé who doesn't care for cats very much fell in love with that little guy. I believe he was an angel.
